“The best thing is to look natural but it takes makeup to look natural.” 😉

No matter how planned our evenings are, we, women always end up making our rooms look earthquake- struck just before a party. Make up is no rocket science but it surely is a tricky subject. All you need to do is learn a few tricks that shall give you the results you want and involves so much less effort!
HEAT THINGS UP : Instead of slapping moisturizer from the tube onto your face, warm it up in the palm of your hand.
APPLY MAKEUP PRIMER: It’s like placing a smooth layer over your skin. No makeup artist is without one and you won’t be either once you try it.
FOUNDATION: Less is more when it comes to makeup. Apply a thin layer of foundation in dots and blend it downwards. Blending well is really important.
CONCEALER: Conceal your under-eye area. No body looks pretty with dark circles. Try benefits concealer. It gives great coverage
THE BASIC SMOKEY EYE: Sometimes , the best way to make a statement is with some sooty, dramatic eyes. A starter smokey eye is easier than you think. All you need is a dark shadow, preferably a dark sable brown(less harsh than black) a smudgeable liner pencil and some mascara. Brush the shadow over your lid, then line you upper lashline and use your fingers to smudge and blend outward just a bit.
LIPSTICK: Apply lip primer( don’t have one) no worries. Apply little bit of base on lips. Line your lips and fill in with a natural lipstick color. Then apply your lip gloss over the product to make your lip color pop out. Never underestimate the power of a nude lip. Try loreal paris infallible pro lip colour in never ending nutmeg.
BLUSH: You only need one light swipe of powder blush for daytime wear. Blush is worn over powder unless it is a cream blush ( Cream blush is applied before your powder). Try a blush from mac, Maybelline, bodyshop. They have some really great stuff.
STRONG, DEPENDABLE MAKEUP REMOVER : You need a good makeup remover to clean shit up when you’ve cried mascara all over your face.
Don’t wear makeup because you think you’re at an age where’s it’s necessary to start wearing it. Wear it because you want to. Wear it as a form of creativity and expression. At the end of the day, have fun with your makeup and apply what you are comfortable wearing.
