Christmas is all about friends and family and making it special! What can be more special than something made at home with love and care? Add that mystical feel by adding your own special touch this Christmas. Here are some fun must try DIY X-mas specials that you can try your hand at.
Gingerbread House Cupcakes
1 package 2-layer-size vanilla or yellow cake mix
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/3 cup molasses
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line twenty-seven 2 1/2-inch muffin cups with paper bake cups and set aside. Add pumpkin pie spice and ginger to the cake mix. Add molasses and vinegar with the eggs. Fill muffin cups and bake according to package directions. Cool cupcakes in muffin cups on wire racks and remove them.
Snow Globe Crystals
Fill half a jar with snow and add white string lights. Cover it with more snow and pick a scene or an act of your choice as shown above and arrange it on top of the snow. Voila! There you have your crystal lit Christmas jars. Pretty, isn’t it?
Cookie Cutter Knick-Knacks
Pick designed papers or shading photocopy pictures onto card stock. Follow cutter on top and cut it out. Touch white art stick along cutter’s edge. Squeeze paper set up and let dry. String limited strip through needle and jab amongst paper and cutter, and wrap lace around top of cutter. Slip a globule over strip’s closures and tie it up to create those cute little ornaments.
Berry Merry X-Mas Mocktails
Consolidate vodka, Chambord, Lemoncello, Grenedine and one shot of club pop in a mixed drink shaker loaded with ice. Shake and strain into chilled martini glass. In the event that you’d get a kick out of the chance to have this, savor a tall glass on the stone, simply shake the alcohol together in a shaker, pour over a glass loaded with ice and finish off with club pop. Berry Christmas ya’ll! J
